Family memorial services for David M. Clutter, 70, of Pukwana, SD will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 10, 2021 at the Hickey Funeral Chapel in Chamberlain.  Burial of the ashes will be at a later date in the Pukwana Cemetery at Pukwana, SD.

David Merlin Clutter was born in Mitchell, SD on April 22, 1951, the youngest of four children, to Wilbur and Mamie (Somers) Clutter.

Two previous marriages resulted in four daughters Michelle, Nichole, Joleen, and Christie.

David lived most of his life in Pukwana and worked at various places in the area.  You may remember seeing him at the Pukwana Co-Op, Brule County Jail working as a jailor, or in the housekeeping department at Sanford Medical Center.

David enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing cards.  He was always listening to country music, his favorite being Reba McEntire.

David passed away on December 4, 2021 at Aurora Brule Nursing Home in White Lake, SD at the age of 70 years.

David is survived by his wife Deborah (Tudor) Clutter whom he had two stepsons Kenny and Kevin Tudor; four daughters Michelle Rassin, Nichole Gossman, Joleen DeSoto, and Christie Clutter; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters Aileen Priebe and Wilda Myers; brother-in-law Lowell Myers; sister-in-law Linda Clutter; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceding him in death were his parents, grandparents, a brother Gary Clutter, and brother-in-law Lloyd Priebe.
