Funeral services for Darrell D. Touche, 50, of Fort Thompson, SD will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Diamond Willow Ministries in Fort Thompson with burial in St. John's Episcopal Cemetery at Crow Creek, SD.  Wake services will be 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at Diamond Willow Ministries in Fort Thompson, SD.

Anyone wishing to follow, the procession will leave at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday from the funeral home.

Darrell Dean Touche was born May 27, 1974 at the Community Bailey Hospital in Chamberlain SD to Caroline (Touche) Grassrope and Phillip Grassrope.

Darrel passed away on December 7, 2024 in Fort Thompson, SD at the age of 50 years.

From birth, Darrell was raised by his foster parents, Rodney and Onalee Head of Fort Thompson, SD.

Darrell Deal Touche AKA the "Warrior" lived his entire life in Fort Thompson.  As a child growing up on Head Drive in Fort Thompson, he played football with all of his friends in East Housing.  He attended elementary school at Chamberlain and later Flandreau Indian School where he graduated.

Darrell liked listening to hard rock music.  He loved his cat "Blackie". Darrell was a traditional dancer.

Darrell is survived by his biological brothers Phillip Touche, Coby Touche, Allan Touche, Myron Touche Sr., his sisters Zinna, Georgia Touche, and Alvia Stricker; his hunka brothers Roger Head and Rodney Head Jr.; his hunka sisters Donna Head and Melodee Head, his best friends Ivan Round Head, Allen Rencountre, Crystal Red Hail, and the East Side Crew.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his foster parents Onalee and Rodney Head Sr., and a sister Zena.
