A viewing for his friends and family in South Dakota will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. , Wednesday October 18th, at the Heritage Funeral Home in Sioux Falls, SD.

Burial will be at the Serawop Family Cemetery in Randlett, UT.

Dallas passed surrounded by family and friends at 11:00 P.M., Thursday, October 12th , 2023 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls SD, from complications of emergency surgery.

He was born October 15, 1986 at Roosevelt, Utah. He attended pre-school in Mission SD, grade schools at West Jordan Utah and Lowell Elementary, Edison Middle School and Lincoln High School in Sioux Falls SD.

Dallas was an enrolled member of the Northern Ute Tribe of Ft. Duchesne, Utah, and had native roots in the Hidatsa/ Arikara/ Mandan of Ft. Berthold, ND, Northern Cheyenne of Oklahoma, and Kul Wicase Oyate of Lower Brule, SD.

Dal enjoyed metal music and concerts, syfy and horror movies, he followed the Utah Jazz and Denver Broncos. He traveled throughout the southwest, living in Oakland CA, Phoenix AZ, Salt Lake City ,UT, Ft. Duchesne, UT, Sioux Falls, SD and finally Lower Brule, SD. He made friends everywhere he went and will be leaving many broken hearted. He had a great sense of humor and was always ready to share a joke and a laugh.

He leaves his mother Lola Whitetail, father Dallas Charging Sr. , daughter Rayhanna, twin brother Travis, sisters Brianna and Barb, brothers Scott and Ernie, nephew Damien. Half siblings Ed Andrew of Loveland, CO and Julianne Robertson of Minnesota. Grandmothers Evelyn Charging of Lower Brule SD, and Nancy Gilbert of Duchesne, UT. Uncles Ray Martinez of Las Vegas ,NV adopted uncles Gilbert from Duchesne, UT, and Macroy Charging of Ft. Bertholf ,ND. Aunties Lavina "Angel" Stenseth and Deniese Zarenhuesen of Sioux Falls, SD, and Jada Hardin of Reno ,NV. Beloved relatives and friends from Lower Brule, SD, Sioux Falls, SD, Mission, SD, Phoenix ,AZ, and Salt Lake City, UT.

Dallas joins his favorite uncle Fuzzy Charging, grandfathers LaGrande Gilbert and Kenneth Charging Sr. Grandmother Alice Serawop, aunt Eldora Serawop, uncles Rich Martinez, Moggie Martinez, Ernie Martinez, Lynn Gilbert of the Rossevelt/ Ft. Duchesne area Utah.

The family would especially like to thank his cousin Kimberly LaRoche, Tedra Baymiller, Erica Heim, nieces Maya Charging and Luna Baymiller for all the care and support.
