Charles Henry "Charlie" Busack was born March 1, 1957 to Rollin and Loy (Houser) Busack.

Charlie passed away August 14, 2025 after a short battle with cancer.

He grew up in Chamberlain, SD where he attended school.  He briefly enlisted in the military.  In December of 1976, Charlie married Pat Finegan (Thelen) and to that union three children were born Michelle, Mark, and Miranda.

He was later married and to that union two children were born Ashley and Maci.

Charlie's favorite pastime was an annual trip to Nemo, SD with his childhood best friend Terry Kennobie and his family where they rode the trails in their side by sides.  He loved driving fast and spinning cookies in his Wildcat.

A favorite memory of his, was taking Ashley and Maci hill and rock climbing in his Isuzu. He spoke about it often.

Charlie worked several jobs during his life.  A few of his favorites were traveling the US, taking photos for Parkway Studios and bartending.

In recent years, his time was spent trucking throughout the United States in his beloved Kenworth.

Charlie had so many friends from all over the country.  His passing will leave a mark on many hearts.

Charlie is survived by his children Michelle (Matt) Howard of Sioux Falls, SD, Mark (Kendra) Busack of Faulkton, SD, and Ashley (Clay) Sohler of Platte, SD; 11 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren, a sister Molly (Darren) Odens of Chamberlain, and a brother Scott (Lisa) Busack of Rapid City, SD.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and special "family" Terry and Amy Kenobbie and their children.

Preceding him in death were his parents and two daughters Miranda and Maci Busack.
