Funeral services for Carol A. Tyrrell, 82, of Kimball, SD will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 9, 2025 at the Kimball Protestant Parish in Kimball with burial in the Kimball City Cemetery at Kimball, SD.  Visitation will begin Sunday at 3:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 5:00 p.m. at the Kimball Protestant Parish in Kimball, SD.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Carol's name to the Kimball Senior Citizens Center, 120 N Main St., Kimball, SD 57355.

Carol Ann Tyrrell of Kimball, SD stepped into her heavenly home in the evening hours of June 4, 2025 at the age of 82 surrounded by her loving family.

Carol was born March 7, 1943 in Plankinton, SD to parents Leo and Marie Raish.  She was raised in Kimball, SD where she graduated High School and then attended Nettleton College for a business degree.

She met the love of her life John Tyrrell and were united in marriage on March 30, 1962.  Early in her married life she was a stay at home mom and later on she worked at Tri-County State Bank in Kimball and First Dakota in Chamberlain.  Her hobbies included sewing, embroidery work, gardening, fishing and traveling with her husband.

Grateful for having shared her life were her husband, John Tyrrell of Kimball, SD & her children: (Robert) & Theresa Stadler of Spearfish, (Dennis) & Michelle Timmerman of Mitchell, Lorin & (Amy) Tyrrell of Kimball and (Kevin) & Kimberly Blackwell of Miller.  Grandchildren: Bobbie, Josh, Bryant, Brylee, Megan, Lyndee, Alyssa, Maycee, Layne, Jonathan, Chelsea, Kaden, Tatum, Vonni, Marisa, Preston and 24 great-grandchildren.  She is survived by (2) brothers-Jim Raish Wilsonville, OR, Dale Raish of Piedmont, SD, sister Kaye Bjorkman of Burbank, SD and several nieces and nephews.

Her love lives on in her (4) children, (16) grandchildren, (24) great-grandchildren and all who were blessed enough to have known her.
