Bryce "Big Izz" passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at home at Bad Nation (Fort Thompson) at the age of 44 years.
Bryce Damon Drapeau was born January 2, 1974 to Robert "Droop" Drapeau and Faith Bad Moccasin at Chamberlain. Bryce was raised in Fort Thompson and lived with his "Mom" grandmother Elizabeth "Libby" Day from a very young age. He attended elementary school at Fort Thompson and high school at Stephan.
Bryce went to the Kicking Horse Job Corp at Nemo, SD studying the culinary arts. He returned home to work at Lode Star Casino as a black jack dealer and also in the kitchen.
He moved to Minneapolis, MN for a short time and then returned to his home in Bad Nation, SD with his mom, April, Lilianna, Laila, and Luikasee. His health issues prevented him from being able to work. Bryce was always with his sidekick Yuri. They went and did a lot of things together including fishing, cruising around, drinking pop, jamming out to "Shell Shock" and TMNT.
Bryce was an avid New York Giants fan. He especially loved when Kim and Jessie cooked because he always knew he would get a plate!
Special thanks to Davita Dialysis of Mitchell and Chamberlain Dialysis Unit in Chamberlain; all of his drivers to dialysis - Brian Harrison, Tyler McBride, Bill "Shpee" Voice, Julie Howe, Lanny Williams, Heath Gourneau, Tuffy Hawk, David Doxtator.
Gratefully sharing his life are his father Droop (Lana) Drapeau of Fort Thompson, SD; mother Faith of Minneapolis, MN; a special nephew Yuri of Bad Nation, SD; two brothers Dean Bad Moccasin of Minneapolis, MN and Robert Drapeau, Jr. of Wagner, SD; three sisters Dena Drapeau of Fort Thompson, April Rockwood of Fort Thompson, and Raquel Moffer of Fort Thompson; aunt Charlotte Rockwood; and many other relatives, nieces, nephews, and friends.
