Angela Lee Pickner, 59, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025, in Naples, Florida.

A celebration of Angela's life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Chamberlain Community Center at 1:00 p.m. Those who wish to remember Angela are invited to come together to honor her memory, share stories, and celebrate the way Angela would have wanted, surrounded by family, friends, and loved ones.

Born on May 5, 1966, in Modesto, California, to Boyd and Connie Pickner. Angela's journey through life was rooted in South Dakota, where she spent the majority of her life. She grew up in the Chamberlain area, attending Crow Creek Highschool. Throughout her adult life she lived in various communities across the state, forming many friendships wherever she happened to call home at that time.

As the third in the line of thirteen children, her early years were neither quiet nor boring. The gift of having so many siblings allowed for an abundance of cherished childhood memories. The importance of family was at the center of her upbringing, which shaped her into a strong and resilient woman. One of her favorite things about growing up in such a large family was being an auntie to so many nieces and nephews.

Angela was the proud mother of five children: Sadie, Jordan, Marcus, Cody, and Morgan. To her, being a mother was not only a responsibility but a calling she poured her entire heart into. She worked tirelessly to provide for her family and to ensure that her children had opportunities to live better lives and never missed an opportunity to brag about them. Her love and sacrifices will forever be remembered as the foundation she laid for them.

In addition to her children, Angela was blessed with four grandchildren, who quickly became the light of her life. Becoming a grandmother was her proudest achievement, and she embraced that role with boundless joy and devotion. She spent her final years in Florida surrounded by their laughter and love, treasuring every moment she could with them.

Angela had a vibrant spirit and a passion for life. She loved music and dancing, and those who knew her will remember her for the way she brought energy and joy into any room. Her resilience, humor, and energy made her someone people naturally gravitated toward, and undoubtedly she will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to share a connection with her.

Angela will be remembered as a fiercely devoted mother, a proud grandmother, a loving sister, an affectionate auntie, and a woman of unshakable spirit. Her love and legacy will live on through her family and all who were blessed to know her

She is survived by her brothers Boyd Pickner Jr. (Debbie), Elmer Pickner Sr., Donald Pickner, Kurtis Pickner(Hollie Tabor), Gregory Pickner Sr. (Lorna Harrison), and Joshua Pickner Sr. Her sisters Crystal Pickner, Helen Abernathy (David Sr.), Jane Medicine Crow (Adrian Sr.), Faith McGhee (Frank), and Idiemae Laabs (Mike). Her children Sadie Projonoto (Ivan), Jordan Felicia, Marcus Felicia (Aimee), Cody Smith Jr., Morgan Fast Wolf and 4 grandchildren.
