Memorial services for Alice Lorraine Hutmacher, 80 of Oacoma, SD will be 11:00am Thursday, August 1, 2019 at the United Church of Christ in Chamberlain, SD with burial of her ashes at a later date.

Alice was born November 24, 1938 to Charles (Frank) Harmon and Ruth (Ransford) Harmon in Oacoma and was the seventh of eleven children. She graduated from Chamberlain High School in 1956. Alice was united in marriage to Joseph Louis Hutmacher June 4, 1961 until his death in January 1986. Alice married James Allen Hutmacher in September 1987.

Through the years Alice was actively involved in her community serving the United Church of Christ and the Town of Oacoma as Mayor for many years. Alice later owned her own upholstery business and was well known for her craftsmanship.

Alice entered Heaven on July 25, 2019. She is survived by daughters Debbie (Rich) Billion of Apple Valley MN, Elizabeth (Vic) Twamley of Oacoma, Jeanie (Chuck Kenyon) of Yuma AZ; sons Joseph (Laura) Hutmacher and Casey (Robin) Hutmacher of Oacoma; grandchildren Anne, Mitch, Jackson, Christopher, Kristen, Heather, Lindsay, Nash, Noah, Brock, Austin, Abby and Adam; great grandchildren Kala, Tate, Quinten, Nora and Colten; brothers Kenneth, Donald, Wayne and James; sisters June and Irene. The family would like to thank special niece Linda Stallman for all the help and visits she shared with Alice.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, four brothers Gene, Charlie, Ralph and Glen Harmon and son Gerry Hutmacher.
